孩子宣教，你祝福嗎？Bless Your Child to be a Missionary, or Not?

這是一位牧師講道的時候，我的領受。

I had this thought when a pastor shares about this.

很多時候身為基督徒的我們都不太願意實行馬太福音廿八19-20的大使命，

I believe most of us as Christians, we didn't want to live out The Great Commission stated in Matthew 28:19-20.

在生活中，還是在宣教禾場裡。

Either in life, or in the missionary field.

不但如此，

Moreover,

當我們的孩子對宣教有火熱的心時，

When our children have the passion to be a missionary,

我們是如何撲滅這把火呢？

We always try our very best to stop them,

耶穌說：

Jesus said,

『讓孩子到我這裡來，不要禁止他們；

因為在神國的，正是這樣的人。』

（馬可福音十14）

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,

for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

(Mark 10:14)

小孩子愛上帝的心，是單純的。

Little children loves God with a pure heart.

就像他們愛身邊的人一樣，他們都是單純的感受。

Just like how they love the people around them!

是我們身為成人的，不斷的教導他們、灌輸他們一些其他的觀念，導致他們漸漸失去那個單純愛主的心。

But we as the adults, we often teach them wrong thinking, causing them to lose their pure heart to God.

上帝就是要我們，像小孩子那樣，單純的事奉他。

God just wants us to serve him with a simple heart like little children.

宣教禾場更是需要。

Especially to serve in the missionary field.

所以，不要澆滅他們熱誠的火了！

So stop killing their passion!

身為也是基督徒的父母，要像孩子一樣單純相信上帝，將一切主權交在上帝手中！

As a Christian parent, we should trust in the Lord and let Him take control!

我們可以幫助孩子確定他們的宣教異象，但是千萬不要抹殺！

We can help the children to be sure of their missionary vision, but don't destroy it!

要不然，我們都是阻止上帝事工擴展的罪人了！

If not, we all will be sinners who stop God's work!

但願我們都成為敬畏上帝的成人。

May we all be an adult who fear God.

後記 P/S:

筆者曾經有一個短宣夢，但是因為一些家庭元素，導致這夢一直不能實現，所以對這牧師的道特別有感觸。盼望有一天筆者可以完成這個夢，為上帝盡一份力量！

I always wanted to join a Short Term Missionary trip. But because of some family issues, this is always a dream to me. That's why I have a strong agreement with the pastor when he shares about this. Hopefully someday in the future, I can realize this dream and work for God!
